Yeah, but the pastel colors, the pink, the metallic reflection, those just scream ‘80s to me. I graduated HS in 1984, but I was more of a jeans/flannel shirts guy. You know, a stoner. I never owned a polo shirt, nor a pair of penny loafers. Or even Topsiders.

lol in high school (01-04) all I had was the same classic Chuck T’s and checker Vans. I had to look up what Topsiders were. Lol people wore those to school? Lame-os!

With no socks. Of course, they are boat shoes by design, and we lived near the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the richer kids, whose parents had memberships to the yacht club, wore them.
